Target has quite literally taken a few pages from Vogue’s book for their fall campaign. The retailer has teamed up with Vogue and renowned fashion photographer Tim Walker for a 20-page ad campaign in the always-anticipated September issue, which this year features Beyonce on the cover. The spread recreates some of Vogue’s most iconic covers and editorials while featuring Target’s own budget-friendly products.
The gorgeous images have validated Target’s position in the fall fashion ad campaign line, putting the retailer on par with other major fashion players. A collaboration with fashion’s favorite magazine in its feature issue is a fashionable feat that proves and perhaps achieves Target’s goal to be taken seriously in the fashion world.
